So I got to the point where I realised I didn’t have the name for the hamster, and I thought “I don’t have time to procrastinate. It's not a lengthy read and the pictures are fun, they are perfect reads for younger minecraft fans with load of references to the game itself and they always leave you on a cliffhanger waiting for the next, the rest of the series is here ready and waiting for them xD.When Po, Morgan, and three of their fellow Minecraft players track the Evoker King to his home in the heart of a perilous dungeon, they have to gear up for an epic fantasy quest filled with danger, dragons, and hostile mobs.

Morgan calmly says that everything in Minecraft isn’t meant to last forever as the group make it to the center of the world. In this book, I really liked that they find solutions that are out of the box and find ways of applying one solutions to multiple issues. Co-authored with his best friend Zack Loran Clark, the book is heavily inspired by the duo’s collaborative storytelling experiences with tabletop role-playing games; they’ve been in the same weekly gaming group for nearly a decade.But the funny thing is, some of the things I find most exciting are the passive things, like the cute little animals when you’re around.

Nick Eliopulos: Yeah, though actually I really like having Jodie – one of the characters – we say at the beginning that she’s only played in creative mode, she hasn’t played in survival mode – and that’s fun because she knows a lot about the game. As Morgan, Ash, Harper, Po and Jodie begin to establish their Minecraft lives by assembing items to build walls and craft items in the village, they begin to realise that at night their home is being overrun by hostile mobs.They feel confident about the dungeon that awaits them, but the narrator mentions that they will lose the battle. The group (Harper, Morgan, Jodi, Po, and Ash) are in Minecraft, hunting for spiders in a forest while opting to find them in caves if there are none. Edward and myself have enjoyed this series immensely and I recommend anyone who has boys aged between 7-10 and you struggle getting them to read rather than game then this is the series to start with. You don’t get to play as a llama, so that’s a little confusing – that may break the rules a little too much. Moving slowly toward the spider, everyone ends up getting stuck in cobwebs, which Jodi believes to have placed by the Evoker King.
