It’s an old kit, but as we’re unlikely to get a new one any time soon, it’s about the best we’re going to get for the foreseeable future. There is a good quantity of detail included, a really nice decal sheet, and those raised tile lines. It will still require care during the build process however, as it is a big kit made of large and sometimes flexible parts. Take it slow and steady however, and you will end up with an excellent replica of this awe-inspiring part of space exploration history. If you’re going to go crazy and super-detail it, there are a great deal of options open to you. Get your wallet ready! Revell markets a varied and complete collection of RC products to satisfy all modeller profiles. Each of the proposed reproductions can be piloted on land, in the water or in the air. Among the Revell models are models of modern submarines. Thanks to the high realism of the details, they are ideal for technology enthusiasts and for lovers of naval modeling.
The Space Shuttle is probably one of the most recognised air and space vehicles on this planet, so I won't go into raptures over its proud history, or the two tragic losses of ships and crew during its long and illustrious career. This year marks the 40th Anniversary of the first flight of the first shuttle, the eventually ill-fated Colombia, on 12th April 1981, so it's not surprising to see that Revell have rereleased their large-scale kit again. Scale : 1:144
The 1:144 scale is mainly used for large aircraft models (airliners, bombers, etc.). A plane in the 1:144 scale is 144 times smaller than the actual aircraft. For example, if the plane is 60 m long, then the model will measure 1 foot and 5 inches / 41.66 cm in length (6000/144 = 41.66).

Revell's construction models are available for amateurs, intermediaries or experienced model makers. Among the most famous models of the brand are: The components feature raised panel lines on the fuselage and this may not impress all of you, and detail as you’d expect with an older moulding is not as fine as, say, the newer kits from this manufacturer. Recessed panel lined are moulded into the wings and tailplane (and Shuttle). The recessed panels are a bit deep to say the least, but maybe not too bad. The type is certainly impressive as you can see from the video at the start of this review, so this project is all going to be about fine preparation and that finished paint job – immaculate!

Se light side of the Force: it is possible to choose between the X-Wing of the rebel army or the Millennium Falcon of Han Solo. At Level 4, this kit is especially suitable for advanced modelers who have already gained experience in gluing and painting. The lovingly designed details and the large number of parts provide hours of crafting fun and an authentic result. Basically, if you are into 1.144 scale modelling, then this kit is worth a look. There will never be a huge choice of Boeing 747 or its derivatives like the SCA available at any point so this one looks like it could prove popular. If you’re prepared to spend some time being patient with your prep and spray work you can get good results from these older-tooled kits.There are some good photos on the internet that will help you finish your model, although I think you have some flexibility when it comes to exact colours to use because of all the reflective qualities of the real material used in the ISS.
