She can easily turn anyone into stone with a glance. Despite the hideous snakes on her head, Medusa’s depicted as a sexy and sensual creature. From my research on her, she’s never been much of a drinker. Her newfound attraction might be my fault. I’ve been known to drive people to drink—as well as throw themselves off buildings and disappear from their families. and their interaction made me laugh so much and that are soooo hot together – I'm telling you –this silver fox is fire!!! Her sister, Arachne, also fits the trope. She's beautiful and large-breasted with a spider web in her eye.I had high hopes for this age-gap Mafia story.. however my unease grew very early on in this tale of a young girl desperate for protection against her obsessed dangerous ex boyfriend Vinny Lombardi.. heir to the Lombardi crime family. Natalia was friends with the daughter of the Head of the Marchetti Mafia.. so she went to Cristian Marchetti for help but he was cold and really didn’t care.. until she implied she may have Lombardi secrets. The thought of the rival family’s secrets was too tempting for this ruthless Don so he was going to marry her off to one of his soldiers.. then things went wrong. He was bad tempered, bossy, uncaring and I disliked him from the start.. however, unlike the other ruthless, bad tempered, alpha anti-heroes I love love love, I just didn’t connect or warm to Cristian. Whether it was Tor’s narration or what I really don’t know.. and I didn’t feel ANY chemistry, character growth, swoons, romance or passion either. In American Horror Story: Roanoke, this is Played With - the actress who plays Scáthach is played by Lady Gaga, and as such, is still attractive despite the attempts to make her appear disheveled and wild. This is averted in Return to Roanoke, where we are shown the real Scáthach, who appears much less like a woman and more like a thing.

I’ll take being tipsy to drunk any day. Tipsy is so superior. You get the benefits of that buzz, but your brain still functions. I can count to one hundred, spell Mississippi, and walk in a straight line. Grendel's mother gets the same treatment in the 1999 adaptation of Beowulf (which was only very loosely based on the original poem) where she is played by model Layla Roberts. Again, she can appear beautiful (in which case she resemble Roberts) but her true form is a large, red, spider-like monster. Honestly, this book had moments of being really wild, and it was super entertaining. Was it the best book I’ve read this year? Nope - there’s some clumsy and choppy writing and I think the pacing of the relationship was a bit off and I wasn’t sure I believed Cristian’s switch to loving Natalia. But! I had a lot of fun reading it. It was clear the author was having fun with this premise, even if that meant making Cristian a genuinely terrible person (for the most part). I admired the commitment to him behaving so awfully all of the time, and being really honest, it did make the dynamic between Cristian and Natalia really fun. Natalia Carprio (early 20's) is best friend's with Gigi Marchetti and has been since they were 16. Gigi is in Italy visiting family and when Natalia finds herself in serious trouble with an ex boyfriend she ends up asking Cristian , Gigi's dad, for help.

The Heroes: Ruse, Snap and Thorn - The guys are all higher shadowkind. Ruse is an incubus who feeds off of sexual energy, he is very weak after Sorsha frees them from not feeding in a while. Snap has a forked tongue and can taste things and sense impressions of the history of that object and emotions attached to them, he can see the people in his mind that held those objects. Thorn is a warrior and is like a man from a past age, very formal and protective. The old game Kid Icarus manages to combine both. Medusa appears as a cyclops stone head trapped in a wall. Upon her defeat, a Cute Monster Girl version of Medusa ◊ ( basically resembling a normal woman with green skin and possibly snakes for hair ◊) comes out of the head and dies. This is actually her original form, but she was cursed into a hideous gorgon form by Palutena as a result of her evil deeds (a reference to Athena turning Medusa from a priestess into a monster). In Fate/stay night Rider 's true name is Medusa and she is rather attractive . However, this appearance is also due to her Class, and her Gorgon form isn't as cute . She is forced to seek help from her best friend's father, who heads one of the biggest mafia families: Cristian Marchetti. OW: One of the past lovers of the Hero is jealous of the h and tries to humiliate her, but the H don’t care about her.

Li'l Horrors has Medusilla Venimski, a pretty monster based on (and named for) the youngest of three gorgons, Medusa. Very vain as she often admires her beauty, which does not turn others (or herself) to stone, unlike the ugliness of her namesake. Her hair can talk as well, as evidenced in several episodes. The story was intriguing and I liked the fact that the characters were working like paranormal private investigators while looking for Omen, using the different powers each of the guys had in different ways to find more clues to bring them further in their investigation. All the while, the group they were chasing after, were trying to find and capture them as well.

Cala Maria from Cuphead starts her fight as a pretty mermaid whose head is made of octopus tentacles . In her second phase she takes a more gorgon-like form with green skin, yellow eyes and snakes as her hair, and she gains the petrifying gaze of a gorgon too. She, however, keeps most of her basic pretty qualities.
