This will enable the MND Association to continue its work across the country, which crucially includes supporting local groups and directly helping families who are dealing with the day to day realities of MND. As we embark on this ultra challenge, it doesn’t even touch the challenges that people with MND face every day. It was great to be back in Edinburgh for another leg of our 7 in 7 in 7 challenge and it was honour to be joined by Doddie’s wife, Kathy for the Extra Mile. When Rob was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease in 2019 it soon became clear Kevin wasn't the type of friend who sat back and did nothing. The plan for our fourth challenge, the '7 in 7 in 7 Challenge' is to run 7 ultra marathons in 7 cities in 7 days with an extra mile each day that will show our support for the MND community. Both played together for the dominant Leeds Rhino rugby league team in the first 15 years or so of this century.
