She is our foster dog from Lurcher SOS and all she really wants is the perfect Forever Home for 2016. I have 3 beautiful daughters with amazing hair, and over the years doing their hair has become our bonding time. I tried not to get all the hair in the bobby pins so they couldn’t be seen on the inside of the loop. I was so glad to get to meet and photograph Molly as part of my Boho Babe of the Month project which I’m running jointly with Doggy Boho, to help overlooked and needy sighthounds find loving homes. Some of her shorter hairs started to fly away a bit on the bottom of the loops, but nothing that a bit more hairspray couldn’t fix! She was photographed in my studio at Madaboutgreys Photography, probably one of the tiniest dogs I have ever photographed – my face and camera were literally pressed on the floor to get low enough for her photographs! A combination of some of the best traits from several breeds, Irish setters are just as comfortable and energetic in water as they are on land. She is such a devoted little dog who loves to please and will sit for hours having her tummy tickled.It might look weird in the middle of the loop to have that section of hair pulled out like you do on the above mentioned ponytails. Mally is sporting Doggy Boho’s polka dot bandana in unisex pink – the floral flourish is the model’s own. Lulu feels distinctly shabby beside her during the winter months and thinks it’s her turn to get one.
