I wanted to read an amazing romance and not chapters after chapters of Dante and hell and faith and whatnot! Unlike the other books in this series that had a good, but not over the top, amount of Dante in it, this book has way too much.She was pretty content, for the majority of the series, to let Gabriel be the first line of defense. La verdad que no me hubiera ofendido para nada si Reynard hubiera dejado esta historia como trilogía ya que el libro anterior quedó bastante cerrado pero como dije anteriormente, me gustó, lo disfruté. Todo va relativamente bien, hasta que Gabriel recibe una invitación para una prestigiosa cátedra de profesores en Escocia, pero decide no comentarle nada a Julia ya que significaría estar ausente por un largo tiempo.

Gabriel, Julia, and Clare are just the sweetest family, and of course, we get lots of extended family as everyone gathers round to welcome the new baby, which means some catching up with favorites from the series. I am a huge fan of Sylvain Reynard because of this series and it has been years since I've read the last book, Gabriel's Redemption.There was a heavy focus on the academics and theories involving Dante and Beatrice, a bit much at times, as I found myself a tad distracted from this couple's love story. They have just had their first child and while trying to figure out how to parent and continue with their careers, they have to navigate being married too. He grows and changes so much in this book and yet they devilish, intense Professor is still very much there. Si bien con lo fan que soy de la trilogía me gustaría saber más de la vida de sus personajes en el futuro, lo cierto es que con este libro no me aclaran mucho.
